We welcome you to a comfortable and homely stay in our friendly and well-situated B&B along the scenic Garden Route. Perfect for business and pleasure, affordable and very central in a quiet residential area. Six rooms with en suite bathrooms and private entrances, TV, coffee and tea facilities. Mossel Bay teams with adventure just waiting to be experienced. Everything from golf to museums, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Go big with the big five, the lion, the leopard, the rhino, the buffalo & elephant! After experiencing an African day in the sun, there is no place like a shower, warm food and a good nights rest to recharge the Africa in you. Just over the mountains via the R328 (Robinson’s Pass), the Klein Karoo is a semi-arid plain between the Outeniqua and Swartberg Mountains. It’s famous for its ostrich show farms, the Cango Caves, and its game farms and nature reserves. It is perfectly accessible for a day drive when you’re staying in Mossel Bay. There are more than 60 km of long sandy beaches in and around Mossel Bay, four of which have been awarded Blue Flag status (Hartenbos beach, Santos beach, Klein Brak beach and De Bakke beach). Warm, beach-going weather can be expected throughout the year, with at least 300 days of sunshine in every 365! There are restaurants to suit every taste, from fine dining to traditional game lodge feasts, exotic cuisine and family dinners. Mossel Bay is also famous for its seafood, particularly the wild coastal oysters of the Garden Route. It is also within a short distance of more than a dozen golf courses in George, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Oudtshoorn. There are a wide variety of shops, from small gift shops to large national chain stores. Most of the malls are open-air, so you can enjoy the lovely weather while doing your shopping. It also has some of the best stands of fynbos vegetation and some of the finest, most untouched coastal environments, where sightings of whales, dolphins and the endangered African black oyster-catcher are regular occurrences. If you are looking for an adventure and a bit of excitement, you can try everything from shark cage diving to guided hiking, horse riding and flying!
